We've been nomading for seven years now and I've yet to feel any longing for a home of my own, other than the "home" that my husband and I have together. But we're all on different journeys and there are a million different ways to configure a life. Here's hoping you find the one that best suits you at this moment in time.

Wow seven years! That's pretty epic ☺️ I completely agree with the "home" that we can create with our loved ones, and I do the same with my husband and our lovely dog. Anywhere really is home as long as they are with me.

Thank you, I definitely see more travel and nomading in our future. I enjoy the fact that we can pick and choose when and how we do it and work out what is best for us 😊

Lyndsay, this gorgeous post has really resonated with me - these lines in particular:

"I want a balance between the life we once had and the life we are currently living. I want something small, simple. Something mine."

In a previous life I would find myself distracted by my own expectations of what life would look like, and captivated by the trappings of perceived success. What I have now is small and simple. I have enough, and neither want nor need more. I am comfy with my priorities, and so grateful to be where I am and to be doing what I'm doing - and at the same time even more grateful for not being where I used to be and to not do what I always felt I should have been doing.

Life is small, simple, frugal and fine. Sending love. ❤️

Thank you so much Rebecca and I'm so glad those words resonated with you 💜

I feel like I've been on a similar journey to you with being trapped by my own thoughts of perceived success and now all I want is small and simple and just enough to be fulfilled.

Sending lots of love back! xx

Hearing so much beauty in these words and very excited for your next adventure. I do think the balance is possible and rejecting the things that don’t serve us or fit our values is a choice too. I can see your home and it’s so beautiful! ✨🫖 🏠

I completely get this Lyndsay, even when I’ve been travelling and had the most amazing experiences, not for nearly as long. I get that craving for the normality of waking up in my own bed and not having to pack a bag! I’m sure you will find the perfect place to settle when it’s right for you. 🙏💫

Thanks Louise 💜

Packing a bag is what gets to me sometimes. I'm fine with the unpacking as it's all new and exciting when you get to a new place but I soon get tired of the packing up and moving on to some place else. We've been in this cottage in Ireland for over two weeks now and it's nice to not have to pack haha.

Oh yes that's it! Hope you are enjoying the freedom of not having to pack. 🙏💫
