I enjoyed killing time in the bookstore in Euston yesterday. The opening page of Bryony Gordon’s latest memoir tickled me x

Ooo lovely! It's a good way to spend the time whilst waiting for a train! I bet that memoir will be a great read 😊 x

I’m so glad you liked Ninth House! It definitely kept me reading and searching for answers. I started One Day yesterday! I didn’t realize it’s 14 episodes! It starts off in Edinburgh so I’m immediately invested.

I surprised myself with how much I enjoyed it! Thanks for recommending it 😄

Let me know how you find One Day! I'm not sure 14 episodes should be defined as a mini-series?! I watched 7 in one evening, I was that hooked 🤣

Waterstones is indeed somehow so very alluring! I ah, have an independent bookstore about 200 metres up the road, so am probably there 2-3 times a week 😅

It is very alluring! I love that you have an independent bookstore just up your road, I think most of my money would be spent there 😂

Three books bought…

One because I love the author (Elif Shafak - 10 Minutes and 38 Seconds in This Strange World), one because of the book cover 😊 (Joanna Quinn - The Whalebone Theatre) and one because I actually read the synopsis and the reviews (Elizabeth Stroud - Lucy by the Sea)🤓 xx

I love, love, love bookstores but I spend most of my time at our local library, otherwise I’d end up broke 😂 #bookwormproblems

I’ve read books by Kate Morton previously but I haven’t read this one yet. I’ll add it to my TBR 😊
