Nice idea to help in Morocco. I don’t know if which particular aid group to help but think it’s a great initiative. Maybe even just letting people tell you their stories could help? I mean even recording them for example.

I'll definitely be keeping my eyes open when we are there to see what we can do. I like your idea of talking to the locals to capture their stories. We're going to be pretty remote for the most part but we will be venturing into towns and villages as we make our way around.
